Hello! I'm Eric Huang.

I'm a current student at NJIT majoring in Business & Information Systems, with a minor in Designing the User Experience. I aspire to help improve the way businesses and customers interact with technology in their daily life.

What am I up to now?

  • I'm interested in the intersection of new technology, data, users, and businesses, and how all of these can drive us towards more human centered technology!
  • I'm learning how businesses and clients interact with digital products and services to design appealing products and apps, and how machine learning can be used to make processes more efficient and intuitive.
  • As a coder and designer, I'm actively creating and designing personal projects.
  • I was an active member of NJIT's Student Senate as the Vice President, chairing meetings and meeting with administrators regularly to try to improve quality of life for students, and experiencing how large organizations are managed internally.

Computer Vision

Built as an intern project for NJ TRANSIT, the Computer Vision application takes a raw image taken from a camera, and runs it through machine learning models to detect a vehicle number. The application is built with a Python backend and a React Native frontend, and can compile to all mobile platforms.

Cashier Simulator

Cashier training game built using the Google Gemini API to respond to and grade the player's customer service responses. Built using Next.js (a React framework) and hosted on Vercel. This project received an honorable mention at HackRU Fall 2025. hosted by Rutgers USACS.
